15 Months

MAMA!

Finally after a long lull...Cecilia has added "Mama" and "Ma" to her list of words. I say a long lull - because when Cecilia was only a few months old she used to cry "Mama" - which was sad and not the time you want to hear your name. But now - she happily says it (over and over) and I happily listen to it - it's the best word ever!

Our Little Girl is ONE!

My God the time has flown - we just can't believe it - what a wonderful year it's been. We were truly blessed with Cecilia - she's been such a good baby since day one - great sleeper, great eater, always smiling and full of spunk! Mike said it best - we blinked and a year went by.

Happy 1st Birthday Cecilia! You truly have brought such joy and love to our hearts - we love you so very much.

Memorial Day Weekend

This year we went to Darien, CT to visit the McGraws for Memorial Day weekend. Cecilia had a great time with her cousins and hitting up the pool for the first time =) Here are some favorite pics from that weekend.

April Pics

It's been awhile since I put up a post - here are some favorites from April - around March/April (8-9 months) Cecilia got her first tooth on the bottom middle, then another one next to it. She was sitting up, clapping, chatting, rolling over and working on learning to crawl. The pictures are of Cecilia and Grandpa on Grandpa's birthday party day, Cecilia with her crown attending her first birthday party for her friend Ava, and two photos of Cecilia hanging out in her room on her chair with dolly =)

Cecilia's First Easter - April 2010

What a special Easter it was - we're discovering how much more meaning holidays now have with Cecilia in our life. We had a wonderful day together - Cecilia was just a doll and we captured several great pictures =)

Cherry Blossoms 2010

Mike took the day off and brought Cecilia into D.C. to meet me at my office and head to the tidal basin for a picnic under the cherry blossoms. Last year when we went - Cecilia was just a glimmer in our eye - and we had no idea what little soul would be with us this year - boy, girl, no idea =) Cecilia loved every minute of it - here are a few pics from our afternoon together.

March Pics

Here are two favorites from March - Cecilia has been very talkative, smiley and energetic. She's been working on sitting up on her own, rolling over and crawling. She's been clapping her hands and bouncing up and down (dancing) in her bouncy - strengthening those legs! She's been a blast and is really showing a personality - she likes to make us smile and feeds on our reaction - she is showing signs of a little performer =)

Blizzaster of 2010

The D.C. area was hit with a record snow storm - rounds 1 and 2 - in February this year. We were all snowed in for a week. Upwards of 3 feet of snow fell - here are a few pics from our week of being snowed in together =)
