I haven't posted photos in quite some time.  Here is a recent photo of Cecilia and Colin at the beach house in Rehoboth over Memorial Day weekend.  CC graduates preschool this Friday - which marks the end of a fun chapter for her at St. Joseph's Preschool and the beginning of a new chapter, kindergarten at St. James Catholic School in the Fall.  CC also gets to enjoy her first real summer break - I am really psyched that we are able to do this for her.  She's been in a daycare for 10 hours a day/5 days a week since she was 3 months old (give or take).  I'm glad that she can feel that summer freedom but am also curious if she's going to get bored - we will see.  She is going to have loads of time at the pool and a good amount of time at the beach over the next 8 weeks - she loves summer and she loves the water, so I think not having a schedule will be great for her.  Colin starts at St. Joseph's Preschool part-time this Fall and will still be with our beloved Sandya the other days of the week - very interested to see how he will handle that transition.  Lots of changes for him with potty training and eventually a transition out of his crib (though not any time soon) - he will be 2 years old end of August and CC 5 years old end of July - time is flying!

January 2014

My last post was in November 2013 for CC's first haircut, well a lot has happened since then - Thanksgiving week spent in Washington State with the Ames and Browns; Christmas at home, a late Christmas shared at Nana & Granddaddy's house with the McGraws and Truesdells; the New Year and a few rounds of snow. 

Baba & Papa left to snowbird in Cocoa, FL in early November and they should be back in late March/early April.  It is an adjustment this year moreso than it has been in the past for Cecilia - she misses them, but we Skype every two weeks - so they can all see eachother.

CC started up ballet a couple weeks ago.  Colin is saying two word sentences now, scaling tables, pulling hair, pulling dog ears, body slamming cats, parachute jumping off of furniture and most recently has learned the word 'mine'.  We signed Colin up for St. Joseph's preschool part time this Fall and are in the process of submitting an application to St. James for Cecilia to attend there for Kindergarten this Fall.  As 'they say' time is sure going fast!
