Almost TWO years old...

Time is flying by!  Soon our sweet little Cecilia will be TWO (as she says) =)

July 4th Family Beach Vacation

We had another fun time at the beach with Nana, Granddaddy and Mama joining again this year - we got another great photo of CC with her Grandparents and Great-Grandmother - we cherish these photos!  We had more fun at the beach =)  More fun at Funland =)  Also a couple of pics showing CC's spicy side and sugar side (with her Mommy).  Also a picture showing CC now wearing her Easy-Ups (she's been partially potty-trained since 18 months!).  A picture of CC helping Mommy blow out the birthday candles (good practice!) and a picture of the 4th of July cake creation - pretty good if I do say so myself!

Family Vacation/Father's Day June 2011

We have several pictures from our vacation at the beach in June - here is one that we thought was precious - our little beach ballerina....who covered herself in sand/water within a few minutes of this picture =)  More to come...and now I've added 6 more photos:  CC on the rides at Funland; CC being mischievious; CC and McK (two of Daddy's babies); Bobo and Rylie (the other two of Daddy's babies); CC maxxed out at Funland and Daddy and CC having fun at the beach =)

Waffles

One thing Cecilia loves is sweets - fruit, cookies, ice cream, and things with syrup - like waffles!  Here is a picture of Cecilia after enjoying some waffles for breakfast!

Memorial Day Weekend 2011

This was a great weekend - the first of the beach season!  Cecilia rode her first rides at Funland - the boats and the cars - in a Corvette of course!  Cecilia also found a new love - horsies!  She LOVES the carousel - which in turn became the theme for her 2nd birthday party!  Here CC is with her favorite partner on the carousel!

Good Report from Urologist - May 2011

Cecilia was diagnosed with Vesicoureteral Reflux at 4 months of age.  Since then, she has taken daily preventative antibiotics to ward off any infections which could cause damage to her kidneys.  For 18 months we've stayed on track with the antibiotics and Cecilia has not had any breakthrough infections.  At her check-up with the Urologist on May 17th, he said her condition is looking better and to continue with the daily antibiotics - checking back again in 18-20 months.  We hope that things carry on in this positive direction and are so proud of how strong Cecilia has been through all the tests, x-rays, scans and procedures she's had to undergo at such a young age.  Here is a picture of Cecilia later that afternoon - Daddy dresses her in the mornings and I thought she looked particularly cute this day - as did she I believe!

Palm Sunday & Easter - April 2011

Here are two cute pictures - the first captured by Granddaddy of Cecilia and her cousin Addison (about 20 months apart in age) on Palm Sunday at the Truesdell house, wearing matching dresses.  The second captured Easter morning before Daddy, Mommy, Baba & Papa headed to Mass.

We went to see the cherry blossoms again this year - Cecilia was alot different this go round and had a blast - here's a family pic =)

20 Months Old

Little Cecilia - so pensive and serious (not!) - but most of the time in her pictures she appears to be! She's our pretty little girl and is such a blast these days!
